Watch For The Call: #4 in the Mraèsvijetu Series
--------------------
Nothing stops when it comes to your life. Not pain. Not anger. Not death. Why can't life be simple? Oh wait. It is. Birth, Life, Death. Or at least that's what Sarah thought.
Sarah sat silently in the back of the classroom. The bell hadn't rung, so everyone was standing around and chatting still. Except Sarah. It's not that she wasn't beautiful. Sarah was actually the most beautiful in the school. Raven black hair, that shined even on the cloudiest day of the year, and eyes that were actually purple, a soft violet that you'd never seen, nor ever would again. Her skin was a milky white, and she had high cheek bones. No it wasn't that Sarah wasn't pretty, she was just... different.
No one had ever excepted her, and no one ever would. Ms. Mirandez came in and yelled at everyone to take their seats.
Well she's stressed today, thank God this is eighth period, Sarah thought. The belled rang then, and it was the last school bell Sarah would ever hear.
Sarah heard a howl then, a loud one at that. No one seemed to notice it though.
Wolfs crashed through the window then and looked around the room, at the frightened kids.
"Get out! Come on! This way!" Ms. Mirandez was yelling and pointing to the door. Sarah didn't move. She wasn't scared,no, that wasn't the problem. But, as everyone ran frantically out of the classroom, Sarah stayed, feeling closer to these animals than her own classmates. Well, she was right on that one.
The wolves took her then, throwing Sarah voilently and carelessly onto one of their backs. Sarah didn't care.
Sarah was taken, she had heard the call. And the wolves knew this. Sarah didn't care where they took her either. She was alone and didn't have a life anyway.
The wolves took her into the woods and changed her. Changed her into the wolf she was meant to be. Sarah was a beautiful wolf to. Shiny, black, raven colored, just like her hair. And she kept the violet eyes. She ran with the pack and didn't change back to a human much. She loved being a wolf too much.
